#Akihabara Maid ✨ Unicorn Parfait at Tokyo's Popular Must Got to Maid Cafe - Akiba Zettai Ryoiki (アキバ絶対領域) 🦄

Akihabara is known as Tokyo's "electric town".
But there is no "electric"
like that of the love from an Akihabara maid!

#Akihabara Maid ✨
Unicorn Parfait at Tokyo's Popular
Must Got to Maid Cafe!

 Akiba Zettai Ryoiki (アキバ絶対領域)

Akihabara's maid cafes are known for a number of things.
❶Their "kawaii" (cute) overly girlish and childish maids.

❷A place where otakus get their picture taken
with their favorite maid for an added price.

❸A place where many maids are considered idols
in their own way.

❹And of course, the place to get the ever famous
ketchup art omuraisu (omelette rice, オムライス)

There are so many maid cafes though,
it can be hard to figure out which to go to.
That's why we went searching for Akiba's top maid cafes,
ending up at Akiba Zettai Ryoiki

Access to Akiba Zettai Ryoiki

Akiba Zettai Ryoiki is located at about five minutes by foot
from the Akihabara Electric Town Gate at Akihabara Station.
Go straight out the exit as far as you can go
then take a left.
Once you get to the intersection
you will see the huge @ home cafe billboard across the street.
Go past that billboard and keep walking until the next intersection.
Akiba Zettai Ryoiki will be on the right side.

Once you walk in you will be greeted by very peppy maids
and handed a pair of kitty ears😻✨
The theme at Akiba Zettai Ryoiki is a mix of
Akihabara's otaku culture
with Harajuku's kawaii culture.

So you will see a lot of cool anime/manga/movie figurines
in pretty pastel colors.
Even their food fits the theme!

Ordering System

Once you are brought to your seat,
the maid(s) will go over how everything works.
But just to cover some of the bases:
★ 600 yen entry fee/person
🐰 There's a one drink order rule (part of the entrance fee)
★ 1hr seating time,
than an additional 600 yen for every extra hour
🐢 When you're ready to order, just say "nyan nyan" (meow meow)!

There's a number of cute and yummy dishes to choose from!
Including pictures of the food on the menu
is really helpful for when you want to order something fun!

*The cafe has menus in Japanese, English, and Chinese

Cute Maid Cafe Food Nyan

There are a number of items that's included in a maid combo,
all of which includes a personalized picture with a maid🐱📸
Below are the things we got that were interesting
and special to Akiba Zettai Ryoiki.

We started off with a pale pink soda
that surprisingly isn't sweet at all.
What was fun about this drink was
a picture cutout connected to the straw.
Hold it close to your face and you'll become a maid✨

 Looks perfect on her💖

Kawaii Drink Combo 1600 yen
Photo Prop Drink + Polaroid Picture with Maid

We know, we know...
pink ramen?!
No need to worry though!
The maids said that the pink color is taken from beets!
No artificial food coloring here!
If you don't like beets,
you also don't need to worry
because it doesn't taste like beets whatsoever.
It's just your regular ramen,
just made with a little extra love
and pink to match the pastel theme.

Kawaii Food Combo 2800 yen
Decorated Omuraisu OR Pink Ramen OR Curry
+ Photo Drink + Polaroid
MoeMoe Pink Ramen 1200 yen
Decorated Omuraisu (demi-glace sauce) 1400 yen
Black/White Cat Curry 1200 yen

What we were the MOST excited for~
Lately in the West unicorn themed stuff are SUCH a hit.
So we wanted to share it with everyone
because we have no doubt this dessert will be popular!
It is absolutely delicious and super cute!
So simple yet perfect!
They really did a great job making it~

 Kawaii Dessert Combo 2550 yen
Parfait + Photo Drink + Polaroid
Unicorn Parfait 800 yen

The Nyan-nyan cocktail is something many Japanese people
are too embarrassed to order.
Because you basically repeat a semi-long chant
after the maids saying cute childish words.
Regardless of it's appeal though,
the whole thing really funny.

It has a really nice refreshing taste though!
Some of us preferred this drink
taste wise to the photo cutout.
Both are really nice in their own special way though.

MoeMoe Drink Combo 1900
Nyan-nyan Cocktail + Polaroid
(*non-alcoholic of course!)

Everything we ordered required a little bit of extra love
to make it taste better.
Thus, before you eat/drink,
you will be asked to say a little chant
or "blessing" with the maid💝

Maid Polaroids and Gacha-gacha

Before leaving we got our picture taken with a group of the maids.
There's a number of typical "maid" poses you can do,
so if you have a particular pose in mind be sure to tell them!
We really didn't so we did the cute and classic hand heart pose💝
Even if you didn't order a maid combo where a Polaroid is included,
you can still get a picture for 600 yen!

While the maid was decorating our picture
we noticed a gacha-gacha machine.
For 500 yen you can get either,
an omuraisu phone strap, a pin with a maids picture,
an illustration of a maid pin, or an omuraisu pin.
We were so happy to get the phone strap!!
It's super cute and looks like the real deal!

Don't the two make the perfect pair!?
Really nice personal souvenirs.

The maids at Akiba Zettai Ryoiki were super sweet and genuine.
The concept of the cafe is what really makes it stand out though.
Incorporating its traditional cutesy "moe moe" persona
while staying true to its Akiba otaku roots.
Plus it's relatively small,
making the experience more personal we thought.
Next time you go to Akihabara,
you should really stop by here!
It's said to be TripAdvisor's #1 ranking maid cafe for a reason!

Hey Loves!

It's the Thanksgiving weekend and I thought I'll bring you a warm fall-ish burgundy copper-y toned makeup look for weekend feasts.

It's only after I list down all of the makeup products, I realized that I completely skipped out on mascara. Oh well, feel free to load up your lashes with a few coats of your favorite mascara. I didn't feel the need to especially with the falsies that complete the eye look.

Also I don't generally don't do blushes on myself specifically as I tend to lean on highlighting blushes as they are two products in one and are usually neutrals like mauves and soft pinks.

I wish your Thanksgiving is filled with luscious gravies, yummy turkeys, amazing pies, gorgeous desserts coupled with loads of fun, laughter, food coma and lovely memories. Fill everyone's tummy and be merry, Happy Thanksgiving!

That's it for today's blog post, I shall catch you very soon in my next blog entry soon!

Earth Therapeutics Pure fx Charcoal Cosmetics Brush Set Review-- Keeping Your Face Safer From Collecting Bacteria

This charcoal-technology also helps keep your brushes cleaner longer.

I’ll be frank with you.  I never heard of makeup brushes infused with charcoal in their bristles until I was asked if I wanted to try them out with this Earth Therapeutics Charcoal Cosmetics Brush Set.  Being that they have #antimicrobial properties due to how the purifying medicinal charcoal is infused into the bristles, I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on these.

This really is an amazing value at $15.99.

This set is five pieces that comes in a clear zippered case that has a contouring brush, stipple brush, blending brush, shadow brush, and an eyeliner brush.  The synthetic nylon bristles are extremely soft and laser cut for precision. Even sensitive complexions will welcome the feel of this bristle against the skin.  The brushes also pick up powders or liquids wonderfully for an effortless application.

Anyone really would love the benefits and quality of this $15.99 set because it truly is a bargain in my honest opinion. Those that suffer from acne or oily skin will especially appreciate #carbon pure technology in their makeup brushes for a fresher, cleaner application since the charcoal helps repel accompanying toxins and impurities from collecting that might transfer to your face.

Cleaning the brushes is a breeze as well.  Soap and water is all you need to care for them.

The assortment of brushes in this set are just as awesome.  The contouring brush is one of my favorites because it picks up the perfect amount over a current one that I have, but I love them all.

Make it a point to pick up the Pure fx Cosmetic Brush Set with Charcoal Bristles for yourself and any beauty lover when making out your holiday gift list.  I guarantee it will be loved.  Check it out at Earth Therapeutics website.

Festive Accessories for the Ultimate Holiday Hair

Nothing says holiday beauty like adding a bit of bling to your hair for a glamorous finishing touch.  It’s the perfect time to channel your inner princess and get away with it.  Mini tiaras, bejeweled headbands and clips, ribbons, and brooches are all the sparkle you need.  Braids, embellishments, full and natural, and sleek, simple styles are all good options, depending on the occasion and your skill level.

Hair jewelry is more versatile than you think and there is a way to achieve a glam look whether your style tends to be uptown or downtown.  The best looks are unfussy, and neither stiff nor precious.  The hair accessory should feel like a charming and festive afterthought, and not the focal point of your look.

Be inspired but these gorgeous runway and editorial looks to create your won holiday fantasy style.  Create your own hair jewelry by using rhinestone brooches pinned into up-dos, or attach a brooch to a headband.  Weave luxurious ribbons through braids, or faux pearls and beaded strands through your hair and hold in place with pins.

It’s holiday hair taken up a major style notch, with easy, fresh, modern style that adds festive glam to your look.

The Ritual of Hammam Bath and Body Care From Rituals Review – Aromatherapy Cleansing Makes Quality BathTime

*Disclaimer:  This post has been compensated through a free product (s) or monetary payment.  Opinions are solely mine. All links are "no-follow" links.**

You'll spend more time in your tub to savor Rituals aromatherapy cleansing.

I am one of those people that take great pleasure in a long therapeutic bath.  Surrounded by my healing oils, salts, scrubs, gels, and soaps, I savor my private time to recover after a hard day to unwind and lose myself to aromatherapy as well as cleansing.  The other day I told you about my first experience with Rituals Ayurveda line of luxurious spa like healing products.  Today, I want to fill you in on their #Hammam products I was sent for bath and body care to bring on wellness.

I started with The Ritual of Hammam Ultra Hydrating Black Soap ($15.00).  The scent of its eucalyptus is so invigorating when you spend time with it.  This is a dark soap with pure olive that slides over the body, deeply moisturizing as it cleanses, delivering skin nutrients.  During the five minutes or so that I left it on before rinsing, I benefitted from its soothing #aromatherapy and found myself relaxing.

To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I should have started with the Black Soap or The Ritual of Hamman Body Mud ($17.00) first.  Therefore, I tried the mud next.  This product also has that fresh eucalyptus scent in its thick, black consistency from its purifying Rhassoul clay.  I rubbed my body with it and left it on for about two minutes to allow its minerals to soak in before washing it off.

Afterwards, I had The Ritual of Hammam Refreshing Foaming Shower Gel ($15.00).  This is a rich, but even more stimulating foam due to its eucalyptus and rosemary that lathered well for cleaning away any lingering mud effortlessly.

Though it was hard to leave my tub, I didn’t want my skin to shrivel and finally emerged from my peaceful bath.  I remembered I still had The Ritual of Hammam Body Mist ($25.00) to try. This really helps prolong that #spa experience with how its rosemary and eucalyptus work with your senses, revitalizing you in a way that is hard to describe.

I really like the Rituals line of bath and body with both the Ayurveda and now this Hammam line in how they work on the body and senses for balancing the body, mind and spirit. If you want to experience something more than just a bath or shower, I recommend visiting Rituals and trying these products firsthand.  They also make wonderful, thoughtful gifts when making out your holiday gift list.  Check it out!
