Seeing as how Jamie and I are of similar colouring, I opted to try the Jamie Chung Artist Shadow Palette* ($56.00 CDN) and try my hand and creating the two-toned lip makeup look!
I thought the metal tin had Jamie Chung printed on it, but the cover is actually a sticker which I will admit was a bit of a surprise in terms of what I’ve come to expect from MUFE.
Each of the shades can be popped out if you’d like put another eyeshadow in its place or move your shadow to your Artist Shadow Palette.
There are four full-sized shadows which makes this palette a crazy good value as buying these shadows individually would have come to the hefty price tag of $111! These swatches are without primer so you can see why I have purchased more of these shades all on my own! The formulation is so smooth and transfers beautifully to the eyelid.
This look is all about simple eye makeup, highlighted skin and of course, the lips so let’s GET THE LOOK!

Using a smudgebrush, line lower lashline with M-532.

Line lower waterline with MUFE Aqua Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in OL* (Black).

MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro Bronze Fusion* (review)
MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Blush in #310 (review)
MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Rouge #17 (top lip)*
MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Rouge #8 (review)*
Final verdict: The palette itself is VERY suitable for everyday with each shade having a different finish and for the price? Amazing. The palette doesn’t seem available on the Sephora site anymore, but the shades themselves are. The Artist Shadows are ALWAYS top notch so if you don’t have any yet, head on into Sephora and swatch their 200 colours!
