I did not "officially" start wearing makeup until I was 20. I say that because I dabbled with lipgloss and blush all throughout high school, but the thought of colour-matching myself for a thick, cakey foundation did not sound appealing to me at all. Even the word "foundation" sounded like so much so I just never bothered with it until I started looking at mineral makeup which looked both natural and easy to apply. Pur Minerals was always on The Shopping Channel a couple of years ago and the way they used that chisel brush to blend foundation was amazing! The models had flawless skin and the price for a compact fairly reasonable (around $30 CDN). Since then, I have gone through 2 compacts and always have one to spare!
Pur Minerals has recently repackaged and I suspect reformulated their products because they are quite a bit better than before! Eyeshadows are smoother, more pigmented and lip glosses smell and feel better on the lips. This relaunch has definitely made me take another look at what Pur Minerals has to offer!
This palette. Man. The Pur Minerals Love Your Selfie Palette* ($49.00 CDN) wowed me. It had been awhile since I last swatched a Pur eyeshadow and as you will see below, every swatch felt so dreamy! If you don't love your selfie now, you will after using this palette! Hahaha!
The palette contains eight eyeshadows in a mixture of mattes and shimmers, a bronzer, blush, highlighter, mascara and lip gloss. While I could have lived without the mascara, as the formula was too wet for my spindly Asian lashes, every other product in this palette was magnificent!
The palette also includes instructions on how to create a daytime and a nighttime selfie look. I actually started with the daytime look to pull away from all of the smoky eyes I have been doing, but it was so subtle on camera that I redid the look for night.

Final verdict: This palette is a total winner for me and I know it will be for you! So pretty and easy to work with. Yes, there are some neutrals in here that you may have seen before, but the quality and overall cohesiveness of this palette is what's winning me over. Even the gloss made my lips feel and look just a touch better!
